Cannelloni with organic beef and cheese


Ingredients for the filling:

- 2 tbsp olive oil

- 1 onion

- 2 cloves of garlic

- 1 tbsp sweet paprika

- 1 tbsp hot paprika

- 500 g ground beef

- 1/2 cup tomato puree

- 1/2 tsp sugar

- 2 tsp herbes de Provence

- salt, pepper


Ingredients for sauce:

- 1 cup of tomato puree

- 1 tbsp dried basil

- 1 tbsp olive oil

- ½ tsp salt


In addition:

- 200 g of cannelloni pasta

- 2 mozzarella balls


Start by preparing the filling: heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a pan. Throw in the chopped onion and fry for 5-7 minutes, until the onion softens. Add chopped garlic, sweet and hot bell pepper, mix thoroughly. Add the meat and fry 7-10 minutes. Add puree, herbs de Provence, sugar, season with salt and pepper. Stir and remove from the heat.

Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a glass. Set aside.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Pour boiling water over the cannelloni pasta and stuff with the stuffing (it is easiest to scoop thestuffing with a small tsp).

Grease the bottom of an ovenproof dish with 4 tbsp of the prepared sauce, arrange the stuffed cannelloni. Pour the rest of the sauce over the whole dish, arrange thinly sliced mozzarella on top. Place in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes.
