Cereal is made by cutting whole, dehulled grain. It consists of flat, hard pieces of grain that usually require soaking or cooking. High quality cereal from European organic plantations are free of any artificial additives. The most popular are oat, wheat, rye and barley cereal. They have high vitamin, mineral and fibre content. Cereal with milk or yogurt makes good breakfast. It goes well with fresh, dried and freeze-dried fruit, seeds, nuts as well as jam and honey. They are very easy to make – you just mix them with water and yoghurt.
